How to Make a Web Page Bigger in Safari on a Mac

Also available for: Windows 11

What you need: A Mac, Safari, and the address of the website you want to see bigger, such as example.com.

  1. Click Finder (the blue smiling face) in the Dock, the row of app icons along the edge of the screen.
  2. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click Go, then Applications.
  3. Click Safari twice quickly to open it.
  4. Click the long address box at the top of the Safari window, type the website address, and press Return. Wait for the website to appear.
  5. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click View, then click Zoom In. The page becomes bigger.
  6. Click View, then Zoom In again until the page is comfortable to read. If it becomes too big, click View, then Zoom Out. To return to normal size, click View, then Actual Size.

Expected result: The website you have open appears bigger. Safari keeps that size for this website only, and other websites stay the same size.
