How to Create a New Folder on Windows 11

What you need: A Windows 11 computer. These steps create a folder inside Documents.

1. Click Start (the Windows logo) on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
2. Type File Explorer, then click File Explorer in the search results to open it.
3. Click Documents on the left.
4. At the top of File Explorer, click New, then click Folder.
5. While New folder is highlighted, type a name for your folder, such as Letters.
6. Press the Enter key to finish naming the folder.

Expected result: A new folder with your chosen name appears inside Documents.
