Practice on a pretend computer in this browser tab. Its files and settings are pretend.
- Windows 11 simulator Opens a pretend Windows desktop.
- macOS simulator Opens a pretend Mac sign-in screen. No password is needed: click the box that says Enter Password, leave it empty, then press the key labeled Enter or return.
If your browser asks to use your camera, choose the button that does not allow it, such as Never allow, Block, or Don't Allow.

To come back here, click your browser's Back arrow, at the top left of the browser window above the pretend screen.

How to Open an App on Windows 11

Also available for: macOS

What you need: A Windows 11 computer. These steps open Calculator, which comes with Windows 11. To open a different app, type that app's name in step 2.

Click Start (the Windows logo) on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
Type Calculator, then click Calculator in the search results.

Expected result: The Calculator window is open on your screen.
